Celebrating 30 years: Ducks Days at Disneyland
In celebration of the Ducks’ 30th anniversary, the two-day event will include appearances from Ducks players, alumni and a photo opportunity with the iconic Stanley Cup® trophy on Feb. 23
Orange County’s very own Anaheim Ducks has teamed up with Disneyland Resort to host an expanded Anaheim Ducks Days at Disney California Adventure Park! The Ducks and Disney have been a natural pair for years for far more than just proximity. The classic Disney movie “The Mighty Ducks” has created hockey fans for decades, so its not surprising Disney and the Anaheim Ducks would come together for this anniversary celebration.
On Thursday, Feb. 22, and Friday, Feb. 23, 2024 Ducks Days is at Disney. In celebration of the Ducks’ 30th anniversary season, the fan-favorite event will take place over two days in Hollywood Land with new and returning in-park fan activities, memorable experiences, themed merchandise and specialty food and beverage items.
On opening day park guests can look forward to a parade in the California Adventure Theme Park featuring Anaheim Ducks players. Friday, Feb. 23, a Legacy Celebration parade will feature select Anaheim Ducks alumni. Expect a special appearance by Wild Wing on both days!
On the 23rd, National Hockey League fans will have the opportunity to score everlasting memories and share the spotlight with the iconic Stanley Cup®. Ducks Days will also feature a historical look at Anaheim Ducks past, present and future will be on display in Hollywood Land featuring select jerseys and memorabilia. Check out the Fan Zone, participate in parkwide activities, listen to live music and test your hockey skills during Ducks Days. A true SoCal hockey lovers dream.
A select few will even get the opportunity to take part in a meet and greet. You can grab your wristbands while they last here.
In honor of 30 years of the “Mighty Ducks” here’s a little more information about the Anaheim Ducks.
About the Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks were born in 1992 and played their first-ever game on Oct. 8, 1993 at Honda Center (then Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim). One of 32 NHL franchises located throughout the United States and Canada, the Ducks have played to over 90% capacity crowds in their history at the 17,174-seat Honda Center. On June 20, 2005, the Ducks franchise was purchased by Orange County residents Henry and Susan Samueli. By securing the first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history in 2007, the club also became the first team from California to win hockey’s ultimate prize. The Ducks have reached the Conference Finals five times (2003, 2006, 2007, 2015 & 2017) and the Stanley Cup Final twice (2003 & 2007). The club has won six Pacific Divisions titles in franchise history, including five straight from 2013-17.
