Happy Halloween! All the ber months are here and we’re here for it. Who doesn’t love free and fun events? In OC we’ve got so many to go to this October. We’ve lined up the FREE events in Orange County this spooky season. Take a look at all the things OC has to offer this Fall.  

Anaheim Fall Festival and Parade

Date: October 26th

Time: 11am-6pm  

Location: Downtown Anaheim

The Anaheim Fall Festival has been around for more than 100 years. This is one of the first Halloween Festivals in Orange County.  The festival will be at Center Street Promenade in downtown Anaheim from 11:00a.m.-6:00p.m., followed by the parade kick off at 7:00p.m. The parade starts off at Broadway and Anaheim Blvd to Center Street Promenade, down Harbor Blvd., then west on Broadway to Manchester. 

Firkenstein Festival

Date: October 05th

Time: 4-8pm

Location: Center Street Promenade, Downtown Anaheim 

Another event by the Anaheim Fall Festival comes to OC this year. For all the beer lovers in your crew the “Firkenstein” Craft Beer Festival October 05th from 4-8pm at the Center Street Promenade. Click Here to get your tickets.

Anaheim Town Center Spooktacular Halloween Celebration

Date: October 27th

Time: 3pm-6pm 

Location: Anaheim Town Center: 2180 East Lincoln Avenue Anaheim, CA 92806

Gather your goblins, witches, and little monsters for an afternoon of frightfully delightful fun that promises to be an unforgettable Halloween experience for all ages. Experience the Giant Pumpkin Carving Showcase, watch mesmerizing magic or take part in the Candy Extravaganza.

Anaheim Plaza Trick or Treat

Date: October 19th

Time: 11am-1pm 

Location: Anaheim Plaza 

Get those costumes ready for this Free Halloween event, the Anaheim Plaza Trick or Treat! Get free candy for the kids store by store and maybe even get a little holiday shopping done. Now that’s a win!

Anaheim Hills Halloween Spooktacular

Date: October 31st

Time: 4pm-6pm 

Location:  Anaheim Hills Festival Center 8020 E Santa Ana Canyon Rd, Anaheim Hills, CA

Spooky season is here! We are calling all goblins, ghosts, and ghouls to join us for our Halloween Spooktacular event on Tuesday, October 31 from 4 pm to 6 pm. The event will feature trick-or-treating throughout the shopping center at participating stores and restaurants, live DJ, face painting, balloon twisting, photo opportunities, and more. You are sure to have a SPOOKTACULAR time!

Dana Point Halloween Spooktacular

Date: October 26th

Time: 2pm-6pm 

Location:  Dana Point Community Center: 34052 Del Obispo St, Dana Point CA 92629

The Dana Point recreation division and the Dana Point police department invite locals to this Free Halloween event. The indoor spooktacular is from 2-8, the outdoor trunk or treat 2-7pm.  

Spooky Halloween Scarolers

Date: October 25th- 27th

Time: 5:00pm-8:00pm 

Location: Bella Terra in Huntington Beach

Stumble upon our spooky “Scarolers” who will be lurking around Bella Terra singing frightening Halloween songs and ghoulish scarols for a terrifyingly good time! Saturday, October 26th stay for the Spooky, Groovy Halloween fun for some trick or treating from 1-7pm.

Spooktacular Kids Club

Date: October 28th

Time: 10:30am-12:30pm 

Location: Bella Terra in Huntington Beach

Come see the live creepy crawlers with doodle bugs, participate in the costume parade, make your favorite Halloween themed craft, live music and entertainment at this Free Halloween event. 

Fall-O-Ween

Date: October 11th

Time: 4:30pm-8:30pm 

Location: Heritage Hill Historical Park: 25151 Serrano Road, Lake Forest, CA 92630

Tour the decorated historical grounds during special park hours and take your picture at a variety of fall and Halloween-themed photo opportunities. Try to find your way through the hay maze and complete a scavenger hunt for ghoulish goodies at this free, family-friendly event.

The Good Vibe Market: The Nightmare before Christmas

Date: October 18th

Time: 5:00pm-9:00pm 

Location: The Kaledioscope Mall: 27741 Crown Valley Parkway Mission Viejo, CA 92691

This is Halloween! Get ready to celebrate Halloween like never before. Dress up in your most boo-tiful costumes and bring your friends along for a frightfully good time. We’ve got a wicked lineup of activities and entertainment planned just for you. From bounce houses to creepy costume contests, this event will leave you screaming for more. So mark your calendars and don’t miss out on this hair-raising extravaganza. It’s time to celebrate the Nightmare Before Christmas this Halloween! 

Halloween Spooktacular

Location: Mariners Park & VJ Community Center is located at 1300 Irvine Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660

This free community event includes LIVE music, trunk-or-treat area, a haunted walkthrough, carnival games, bounce houses, costume contests, food trucks, and fun for the whole family! 

Old Towne Orange Treats in the Streets

Date: October 24th

Time: 4:00pm-7:00pm 

Location: Plaza Park. Intersection of Glassell and Chapman Avenue. Orange, California 92866.

Boo at the Oaks

Date: October 18th

Time: 5:30pm-9:30pm 

Location: Santiago Oaks Regional Park 

The night is full of creepy creatures and scary sounds…unless you know what’s out there! Visit the Oaks after dark to discover which critters call this canyon home. The evening is filled with fun nature stations, creative crafts, scavenger hunt for prizes, and night hikes!

6:30 – 7:30 p.m. easy hike at a slow paced ideal for families and young children
8 – 9:30 p.m. moderate for older children and adults

Costumes are welcome but must be able to safely hike on dirt trails in the dark. Strollers are not recommended as we will walk across the creek’s steppingstones. No pets. Event and parking are free; registration is required. Click Here to register.

The Boo Bash Bonanza

Date: October 31st

Time: 2:30pm-5:30pm

Families can trick-or-treat in a safe and welcoming environment, play in bounce houses and inflatables, DJ music, games and enter the costume contest (child, pet, and family categories). 

Candy Crawl at the San Clemente Outlets

Dive into a spellbinding world at the San Clemente Outlets Candy Crawl Event! Immerse yourself in spooky melodies, transform your look with face painter’s artistry, and be amazed by the balloon twister’s creations.  

Trick or Treat Mainplace Mall

Trick or Treat at the Mainplace mall! Costumes are encouraged but not required for this Free trick or treat event. 

Halloween Festival

Join the city of Stanton the  Saturday before Halloween for the annual Halloween Festival at Stanton Central Park. This special event is open to ghosts and goblins of all ages and will feature games, entertainment, costume contests,  food booths and a howling good time for everyone. Be sure to bring your trick-or-treat bag!

Rock N' Roll Halloween Howl

Rock N Roll Holloween Howl. Join the city of Tustin for some trick or treating at the rec center.

Movies in the Park: Hocus Pocus

Grab your blanket and a chair and head to Hurless Barton Park for the Fall showing of Hocus Pocus.

Scarecrow Festival

Location: Lions Park 1845 Park Ave, Costa Mesa 

Scarecrow contest, kids costume parade, trick or treat station and pumpkin decorating at this annual event!
